What does “top quality flyers printed and shipped in 2 days or less!” actually mean?
Printing
Happy customers are the lifeblood of our business and we will make every attempt to produce and deliver your job correctly and on time. We use high quality digital offset printing and direct to plate printing which prints at a minimum of 175 line screen. It is our stated goal that we will print your job and have it ready to ship within 2 working days of written proof approval. Proof approval must be done via e-mail during normal business hours. Verbal approval of proofs will not be accepted. Proofs received after 5:00 pm Central time will go into production the following business morning and will ship at the end of the second business day after the job was put into production. If we fail to ship your job within 2 working days as defined above we will discount the job 10%. No additional compensation will be awarded in any way shape or form for missed shipping deadlines. Failures of 3rd parties such as shippers are not the responsibility of Two Day Flyers nor are natural disasters, extraordinary weather or Acts of God.
Proofs
In order to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction all orders will be proofed via e-mail. This protects you from accidentally uploading the wrong file or if a file is incompatible with our printing methods. There will be no charge for electronic proofs however if we are required to make changes to source files and reproof a job more than once additional charges may apply. Proofs will be sent out via e-mail within 2 hours of an order being received during normal business hours. It is our goal to contact you by telephone to confirm your order within 1 hour of receipt during normal business hours and give you a preliminary assessment of your files and their compatibility with our equipment. We may call you or e-mail you periodically while your proof is out on approval in order to make sure that your order is not delayed due to technical difficulties. Proofs must be approved via return e-mail before a job will be printed. No verbal approval of proofs will be accepted. Delays in the proofing process will delay when your order is put into production and will delay the expected ship date. If you have a critical deadline please alert us when your order is placed and we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule. If after proof approval we are unable to meet your original deadline we will either renegotiate an acceptable deadline or we will refuse the order. No charges will be assessed for proofs or printing if the proofs are either not returned or if an order is cancelled prior to proof approval. Credit Cards will not be charged for printing prior to proof approval. Once a proof is approved via e-mail and a Credit Card has been charged it is not possible to cancel or otherwise alter the job in any way.
Shipping
Two Day Flyers offers free ground shipping within the continental United States only. Two Day Flyers can make no guarantee of specific delivery dates on any ground shipping. We are happy to make any special arrangements for overnight or other expedited shipping methods. We will prepare and ship your order on a supplied FedEx or UPS account at no additional charge. We will arrange expedited shipping on our accounts for a 20% surcharge above and beyond the actual shipping cost to be billed to a Credit Card immediately. Regardless of the shipping method Two Day Flyers will send you a shipping confirmation e-mail containing tracking information for your job. It is not the responsibility of Two Day Flyers to track any shipments once they leave our facility. Failure of 3rd parties such as shippers are not the responsibility of Two Day Flyers nor are natural disasters or Acts of God.
Normal Business Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time
Normal holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day and the 4th of July are observed and are not considered normal business hours.
E-mail
While e-mail is generally a reliable way to exchange information it is not 100% foolproof. We will follow up all proof and order confirmation e-mails with a phone call to make sure that deadlines are being met and your order is completed correctly and to your satisfaction. If you have critical deadlines or other special arrangements please send them to us in writing and follow them up with a phone call during normal business hours. Two Day Printing takes no responsibility for failures in our internal e-mail system or any other system that is out of our control. |
