The Hewlett-Packard Indigo 3050 press is designed for short to moderate on-demand and personalized printing projects requiring high-quality full-color offset. The press has a completely digital front end, no film or plates, so the file is imaged directly to the cylinders where the electrostatic liquid offset ink is transferred to the stock. Combined with Platinum's high resolution imaging (175 lpi), Indigo's unique liquid ElectroInk produces deep, rich offset quality printing that is uniform, brilliant and glossy. Our Indigo 3050 offers four-color printing capability and an unlimited substrate selection expands your options for a greater variety of projects and end uses.

Utilizing breakthrough technology the Indigo Platinum can print 2,000 12 x18 sheets per hour and every sheet can contain any quantity of variable graphics and text. The marketplace has been changing steadily with increasing pressures on deadlines, shrinking run lengths, last-minute changes and a high demand for quality quality - all requirements for which we have the perfect answer. The Heidelberg DI is a sheetfed offset printing press that meets the highest of quality criteria by combining the flexibility of offset printing with the speed of a digital workflow. The Heidelberg will print all commercially available waterless offset inks. The DI also gives you maximum flexibility for selecting different stocks. From the thinnest of stocks .04 mm (0.0016") to Chromolux board 0.3 mm (0.012 ") you can use virtually any weight and grade. The Heidelberg DI also offers you flexibility for choosing different sheet sizes ranging from postcards to 12 x 18 with the superior image resolution of 1,270 dpi (200 lpi) and color fidelity. Even preprinted and prefinished materials such as envelopes are easy to print.

The Heidelberg DI is best-suited for short runs of between 200 and 5,000 copies, it also handles longer runs with ease. A top production speed of 10,000 sheets per hour and press imaging technology that allows 20,000 impressions before refreshing the digitally imaged plates. Make ready and inking are automatic. An ink profile is calculated from the file and relayed to the ink fountains for presetting the ink zones. This ink presetting helps substantially reduce startup waste. Owing to the high degree of automation, it takes less than ten minutes from the start of imaging to get the first printed sheet into the delivery.
